Tammy Lynn Carr ​- age 42 of Polo, MO entered the kingdom of Heaven Sunday morning, December 10th, 2017 at home with family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born on October 26th, 1975 the daughter of William Jones and Clara Beam in Rochester, NY.  Tammy grew up in Springwater, NY and attended Catholic grade school there.  She was baptized in the Catholic church. In 1993, Tammy and her first born child, Roger moved to Missouri.  On November 4th, 1996 she was united in Marriage to Kevin Carr at the Polo Fire Barn.  In 1998, she started working as a pet groomer, prior to that she had worked as a secretary for VSI.  For the past 15 years she worked for Amity Woods Animal Hospital in Kansas City, MO as a pet groomer.  Tammy was a strong, loving, forgiving and easygoing person. She had a zest for life, loved to have fun and enjoyed people.  She was always willing to help people and opened her home up several times to people who needed a place to stay.  Tammy adored her children and loved her family and friends, she will be missed by all of them. 

Those left to mourn her passing and celebrate her life include: husband, Kevin Carr of the home; son, Roger Carr of the home; daughter, Kayla Carr of Polo, MO; son, Luke Carr of the home; son, Levi Carr of the home; father, Bill Jones and wife, Jeanette of Springwater, NY; mother, Clara Beam of Rochester, NY; sister, Rogie Church of Rochester, NY; aunt, Linda White and husband, Alan of Richmond, MO; grandma, Connie of Polo, MO and a grandson, Riley.  She also leaves behind an abundance of friends. 

A celebration of life gathering will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, December 17th, 2017 at the Polo Community Building.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Wayside Waifs in Kansas City, MO in loving memory of Tammy Lynn Carr and can be left at or mailed to Stith Family Funeral Home (301 E.
