Wanda Harp-Barko

Wanda Harp-Barko - age 61 of Kingsville, MO passed away Wednesday morning, March 18, 2026, at her home in Kingsville. Wanda was born on September 26, 1964, the daughter of Hilbert  and Joyce  (Arneson) Martzolf in Colorado Springs, CO. She was a graduate of Lathrop High School. Wanda married her childhood sweetheart, Rodney Harp and he preceded her in death. She later married Robert Barko. Wanda worked as a bookkeeper for Case Corporation for many years. She was a fun loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a protector of her family and would always help everyone else before herself. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. People who knew her would often describe her as the strongest woman we know. Wanda will be dearly missed. 

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rodney Harp;  brothers, Steven Coates and Rocklyn Martzolf; brother-in-law, Samuel Brian Harp. She is survived by her husband, Robbie Barko of the home; daughter, Christen Stewart (Carlo Cammisano) of Belton, MO; son-in-law, Kenneth Stewart of Kingsville, MO;  grandchildren, Jesse and Maliya Stewart; sister, Brenda Harp of Lathrop, MO, sister-in-law, Ronda Driver of Independence, MO, and sister-in-law, Lorri Bosch (Jim) of Edgerton, MO; nephew, Michael Brandon Harp of Lathrop, MO; niece, Trisha Harp of Lathrop, MO; niece, Sarah Rodriguez of Independence, MO; niece, Jessica Staggs (Troy) of Grain Valley, MO; 4 Great nieces and nephews; other extended family members also survive.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the funeral home to help with final expenses. A service celebrating Wanda's life will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Stith Funeral Home in Lathrop.  The family will receive one-hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Lathrop Cemetery, Lathrop, MO.
