Vicky Elaine Hiley

Vicky Elaine Hiley, age 75, of Gallatin, MO, passed away Wednesday morning, October 1, 2025, at Sunset Home in Maysville, MO. Vicky was born on August 23, 1950, in Pattonsburg, MO, the daughter of John "Richard" and Florence (Mooney) Mikes. Vicky earned her bachelor degree from Missouri Western and her masters from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO. She dedicated over 30 years of her life to early childhood and elementary education. Vicky taught preschool, elementary and art at various schools including Breckenridge, Jamesport and the Gallatin Head Start Center; where she made a lasting impact on generations of students. A devoted member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Gallatin, Vicky found joy in her faith. She loved art, bird watching and had a famously stubborn spirit that her loved ones will fondly remember. Vicky will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Vicky was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children: Hobart Hiley of Winston, MO, Chris Hiley (Kimberly) of Gallatin, MO, Michael Hiley (Liz) of Altamont, MO and Jacqueline Turner (Billy) of Maysville, MO; grandchildren: Shaey, Dakota, Nathan, Rebecca, Ethan, Timothy, Emma, Makayla, Dodge, Brooklyn, Aspen and Amanda; great-grandchildren: Natalie, Mackenzie, Ava, Brinley, Bri, Blaze and Ozzlin; and sisters, Patty and Tammy; along with many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Luke's Miracle Network in care of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 6, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin, MO. The family will receive friends 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Sunday, October 5th, 2025 at Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin.
