Thelma M. Tucker - age 93, of Cameron, MO passed away Saturday morning, January 30th, 2021 at Daviess County Nursing and Rehab in Gallatin. Thelma was born on April 10th, 1927 the daughter of Herbert and Alice (Webb) Hill in Smithville, MO. She attended Lafayette High School in St. Joseph, MO. On March 29th, 1947 she was united in marriage to Jeff Tucker in Troy, KS. Together they owned and operated Zip Truckline in Gallatin, MO. Thelma would give the shirt off her back. She loved sports of all kinds, especially football and the Kansas City Chiefs. She also enjoyed dirt track racing. Thelma collected lots of things over the years, including roosters. She will be dearly missed.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; son, Glenn Dale Tucker and siblings, Frances Eareth, Betty Auxier and Alice “Sis” Hill. Survivors: husband, Jeff “Zip” of the home; daughter, Sally (Allen) Whitt of Cameron; son, Harvey (Betty) Tucker of St. Joseph; brother, Herbert Hill of Helena, MO; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Kickin' Cancer with Kindness in care of the funeral home. It was Thelma's wish that no services be held.
