Terry Ward Andersen Obituary

Terry Ward Andersen passed away September 4th, 2025 at his home in Gallatin, Missouri.  Terry was born March 22nd, 1939 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Adolph Severin Andersen and Leola Simpson Moore (Andersen).  He was the 2nd child and 2nd son of 5 children.  His older brother, Kent, and parents are deceased.  He is survived by his three sisters; Carol Obenhaur, Shanna Pierson (Marvin) and Claire Nice.

Married March 24th, 1961 to his sweetheart, Rosanna Combs, who also survives Terry along with their seven children; Tracy Ward Andersen (Virginia) of Orlando, Florida, Todd Warren Andersen (Penny) of Gallatin, Missouri, Troy Wade Andersen (Delsa) of Flower Mound, Texas, Angela Heather Smith (Ned) of Lake Sammamish, Washington, Melody Fleurzette Golden of Pattonsburg, Missouri, Christy Joy Burnham (Brian) of Chubbuck, Idaho and Travis Wynn Andersen (Jenna) of Post Falls, Idaho.  Terry is also survived by 40 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

His family was always his greatest priority.  In their young ages, Terry and Rosanna always loved to make life an adventure by taking trips, learning new things and developing both skills and talents.  Mostly, Terry would teach a good work ethic through his example.

Terry graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1957 and then entered the School of Pharmacy at Idaho State University.  He  changed to Music Supervision and received a bachelor of Science Degree from the University.  Later he continued University Studies with coursework that eventually led to receiving a Doctorate in Nutritional Medicine.

Terry’s career path included teaching, sales and marketing, securities exchange broker, land development, property management, a published author and both domestic and international business ventures.  As an active community member Terry ran for the Idaho State Senate.

Terry was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where he served in many positions and several missions.  He, and his wife Rosanna, served together in the Washington DC South Mission where he worked on mission  finance, housing and contractual matters.

Life for Terry was always busy, but sometimes he would get to go fishing.
