Ted Reeves

Theodore Allen (Ted) Reeves - age 53 of Gallatin, MO, passed away Saturday afternoon, December 15, 2021, at his home in Gallatin. Ted was born on December 8, 1968, the Son of Robert Allen, Sr., and Carolyn Ruth (Hodges) Reeves in Palm Desert, CA. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He spent most of his life in California and moved to Missouri in 2018. He was a 1986 graduate of Diamond Bar High School.

Ted worked as an IT Tech for The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California for 28 years.    He enjoyed surfing, racing motorcycles in the desert, bicycling, and racing mountain bikes.  Ted enjoyed jeep off-roading and spending time at Joshua Tree National Park. He had traveled to Hawaii, the Philippines, Thailand, Asia, and Mexico. Ted had a great sense of humor and was a teaser.  He was fun to be around. Ted helped people quietly. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter Emily Reeves with his first wife; one son, Aidan Reeves with his second wife; his father, Robert Allen Reeves Sr. (Sophia) of Kearney, MO; four siblings: Robert Reeves Jr. of CA, Bobbi Becker (Janine Cochran) of Orange, CA; Tangi Koffroth (Steve) of  Santa Ana, CA; Aaron Reeves (Annette) of Rio Rancho, NM; his uncle and aunt David and Bernie Simmons of Albuquerque, NM, and aunt Toshie Watterson of Big Bear, CA. He is preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Ruth Reeves, and his uncle, Walter E. Watterson. Many other extended family members also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Brain Trauma Foundation, the Tunnel to Towers in care of the funeral home, and/or the Alcoholics Anonymous Central Office of Los Angeles.
