Tammy Lynn Peery - age 50 of Jamesport, MO passed away Thursday evening, February 25th, 2021 at her home. Tammy was born on November 17th, 1970 the daughter of Gerald and Sherrill (Allen) Souders in Trenton, MO. Tammy grew up in Jamesport and was a 1989 graduate of Tri-County High School, Jamesport, MO. On June 9th, 1991 she was united in marriage to John Peery at the Jamesport United Methodist Church. Tammy worked at Walmart in Chillicothe, MO for 16 years. She also worked at the Jamesport Grocery Store, the Country Cupboard and Premium Standard Farms. Tammy enjoyed hunting of all kinds, especially deer hunting. She also liked to hunt for arrowheads, fish and ride motorcycles. Tammy loved the outdoors. She was bubbly, outgoing, and ornery. Tammy loved everybody, particularly her grandbabies and dogs. Tammy was a member of the Jamesport United Methodist Church and Coon Creek Baptist Church in Brimson. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Tammy was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents. Survivors include: husband, John Peery; son, Dakota (Kyle) Peery of Gallatin; son, Quade (Taya) Peery of Iowa; father and stepmother, Gerald and Donna Souders of Jamesport; mother and stepfather, Sherry and Dan McKiddy of Jamesport; sister, Kathy Parker of Jamesport; stepsiblings, Tammy (Steve) Meek of Brimson, Dori (Art) Nunn of Trenton, Danny (Krystal) Welch of Trenton, Bailey Souders of Jamesport, and Kodi Souders of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Prezleigh, Easton, Koda, Kaizen, Maxton (on the way); several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Stith Funeral Home to help with final expenses in care of the funeral home (1329 W. Grand St. Gallatin, MO 64640). A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021 at the Jamesport United Methodist Church, Jamesport, MO. A visitation is scheduled for 6 to 8 PM, the evening prior, also at the church.
