Suzan (Adamson) Miller

Suzan (Adamson) Miller - age 72 of Gallatin, Missouri passed away Tuesday evening, October 8, 2024, at Mosaic Medical Center in St. Joseph, Missouri. Suzan was born on September 1, 1952, the daughter of Daniel  and Ethel (Hall) Adamson in Elmo, Missouri. She grew up in rural Missouri and graduated from Penney High School in west Des Moines, Iowa. Suzan worked in health facilities as an activities director and in nursing capacities. Suzan liked shopping and playing computer games; particularly cards. She loved animals. Suzan enjoyed collecting things, especially clowns. Most of all she loved her family. Suzan will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Suzan was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Jack Smith; sister, Juanita "Nita" Wood; and infant brother. She is survived by sons, Robert Ely (Angela) of Trenton, MO and Daniel Ely of Gallatin, MO; grandchildren, Ayden Ely of Gallatin, MO, Danielle Ely of Gallatin, MO, Bryce Leatherman of Chillicothe, MO, Ayden X. Ely of Trenton, MO, and Alexandria Ely of Trenton, MO; great-grandchild, Sylvie; and sister, Diana Myers (Ray) of Gallatin, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Green Hills Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
