Sandra Kay (Sharp) Eads

Sandra Kay (Sharp) Eads – age 75 of Polo, MO passed away Friday afternoon, April 6th, 2018 at home. She was born on December 31st, 1942 the daughter of Earl and Mary Francis (Kelley) Sharp in Kansas City, MO.  Sandra grew up in Lawson, MO and graduated as valedictorian from Lawson High School in 1960. She accepted Jesus Christ has her Lord and Savior at a young age.  On November 16th, 1962 she was united in marriage to Arthur Junior Eads at the Lawson United Methodist Church and they made their home on the farm west of Polo.  Sandra was a Homemaker and farmer. She raised four children.  Sandra was a hard worker, devoted wife, mom and grandma.  She loved to play games of all kinds and enjoyed watching sports. Sandra was a big Polo sports fan. Just last fall she attended every home football game. Sandra was always there to cheer on her children and grandchildren.  She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Polo and a past member of the Prairie Ridge Church.  Sandra enjoyed playing the piano and singing. She had a sense of humor and quick wit that will be missed by her family and friends. 

Mrs. Eads was preceded in death by her parents.  Those left to mourn her passing include: her husband, Junior of the home; daughter, Karen (Danny) Hicks of Polo, MO; son, Danny (Beth) Eads of Arlington, TX; daughter, Susan (Duayne) Cory of Polo, MO; daughter, Allison (Scott) Lewis of Gladstone, MO; sister, Janell Coleman of Lawson, MO; sister, Judy (David) Holt of Polo, MO. Grandchildren: Lance (Lauren) Hicks of Springfield, MO; Cody (Ashley) Hicks of Columbia, MO; Kaleb Hicks of Liberty, MO; Christopher (Haley) Shelton of Kearney, MO; Ashton Shelton of Parkville, MO; Jonathan (Amelia) Shelton of Lathrop, MO; Jorgia Cory of St. Louis, MO; Luke and Earl Cory of Polo, MO; Katelynn and Paige Eads of Arlington, TX; great-grandchildren, Corra, Andrew and Elizabeth. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family also survive.

Pallbearers: Lance Hicks, Cody Hicks, Christopher Shelton, Kaleb Hicks, Ashton Shelton, Jonathan Shelton, Luke Cory and Earl Cory.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Comfort Care Hospice in Cameron, MO.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday morning, April 11th, 2018 at Stith Family Funeral Home in Polo, MO. The family will receive friends one-hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning after 9:00 AM Tuesday.
