Sally Ann Loucks - age 85 of Gallatin, MO passed away Tuesday morning, August 24th, 2021 at Daviess County Nursing and Rehab in Gallatin. Sally was born on April 23rd, 1936, the daughter of Earl and Edna Mae (Morris) Taylor in Kansas City, KS. She grew up in Kansas City, KS and attended school there. She was united in marriage to Charlie Loucks and they lived in Cameron and Breckenridge, before moving to Gallatin. Sally was a supervisor for Clinco Industries and a homemaker. She helped her family and community in many ways. Sally loved the Kansas City Chiefs and was “happy go lucky”. She enjoyed joking around and was ornery. Sally loved her family and always had her arms open with love but was always ready to speak her mind and let them know what she thought. Sally especially enjoyed decorating for holidays and hosting family gatherings. She loved garage sales, craft work, gardening, flowers, and spending time with grandkids. Sally will be dearly missed.
Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie; parents; daughter, Kathy Lewallan; daughter, Patsy Nelson; brother-in-law, William Loucks’ brother-in-law, Homer Loucks and sister-in-law, Edith Wise; survivors include: son, Chuck (Bev) Lewallan of Warrensburg; son, Rusty Loucks of Gallatin; grandchildren, Roger (Alisha), Wendy (Mike), Crystal (Ricky), Marlena, Cathy, Amanda and Dustin (Heather); 15 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Charles (Bessie) Loucks of Cameron; brother-in-law, Raymond (Beverly) Loucks of Gallatin, sister-in-law, Louise (Daniel) Lynn of south Missouri; sister-in-law, Maryann (Clayton) Hogan of Jameson and several other extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Active Aging Resource Center in care of the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 PM, Saturday, August 28th, 2021 at Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery south of Jamesport, MO.
