Royce G. Cheney

 Royce G. Cheney - age 66 of Lathrop, MO passed away Saturday , February 11, 2023 at his home in Lathrop. Royce was born on September 17, 1956, the son of LeRoy  and Shirley  (Kennedy) Cheney in Clinton County, MO. He was a 1973 graduate of Lathrop High School. Royce was a member of Kearney Bible Church .  He was a war history and wild west buff and enjoyed watching Bonanza and reading Louis L'Amour. Royce also enjoyed the Holt Hill Climb .

Royce was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Danny Cheney. He is survived by his son Michael Cheney (Jennifer) of Holt, MO; daughter, Katherine Heiser of Kansas City, MO; grandchild, Oliver Paxton; and  siblings, Linda Cheney of Florida , Lisa Cheney-Sammons of Bowling Green, KY, Dana Cheney of Excelsior Springs, MO, and Sam Cheney of Liberty, MO; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members. 
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Kearney Bible Church in care of the funeral home. Memorial services are pending at this time.
