Ross Elliot Barrett - age 53 of Winston, MO passed away Friday morning, January 16, 2026 at his home. Ross was born on January 28, 1972, the son of Bill Jack and Carmen (Tresler) Barrett in Minneapolis, MN. He graduated from high school in Kentucky in 1990 and was united in marriage to Beth Choate on December 7, 1991, in Marshalltown, IA.
Ross was the owner of a digital marketing business and had a lifelong creative spirit. He was an avid photographer, loved guitars, and was deeply passionate about music. He was in several bands as the lead guitarist and enjoyed skateboarding at a semi-pro level. Ross had a strong faith in God and loved to research and study. Above all, he cherished his family. He was loyal, honest, quick witted, and very funny, leaving behind countless memories filled with laughter and love. Ross will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Barrett; Grandfather, Marvin Barrett, and Grandmother, June Tresler; and his uncle, Mike Tresler. Ross is survived by his loving wife, Beth Barrett, of Winston, Missouri; sons, Gavin Barrett (Ryann) of Kansas City, Missouri, and Gaige Barrett (Jessica) of Faribault, Minnesota; grandchildren, Jude and Ezekiel; father, Bill Barrett; stepmother, Patricia Barett and brother, Aaron Barrett (Ann) of Michigan.
