Rosie (Bey) Peeler was born at home on August 10,1937 in Kansas City MO to Charles Bey and Victoria Crisp. Her family moved to the north end of KCK after the flood of 1951 in Armoudale forced them out of their home. She attended Northeast Junior High School where she met the love of her life Charles (Tony) Peeler. It was there that they planned to spend the rest of their lives together on the steps of the school and get married on October 21, 1952. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church until her husband became a minister and started Grace Baptist Church in a store front on 17th & Quindaro. Rosie, along with her husband, raised 6 children in KCK. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and was a devoted wife and mother in the 72 years of marriage to her husband. She supported her husband as the first lady of Grace Baptist Church and Polo Bible Church after moving to Polo, MO in 1987. Rosie and Tony retired from the ministry and lived a loving life together in Polo.
