Ronnie "Ron" L. Hensley

Ronnie "Ron" L. Hensley - age 73 of Gallatin, MO passed away Friday, August 8, 2025, at his son's home in Holt. Ron was born on November 9, 1951, the son of Jewell and Betty (Kasinger) Hensley in Mountain Home, AR. At age 16 he moved to Kansas City. Ron was united in marriage to Juanita Burks. He later married Rhonda Thomas on April 1st, 1995, in Miami, OK. Ron worked for LaFarge in Independence as a maintenance electrician. He was a true outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He never met a stranger and as a result he had numerous friends.  Ron loved to drink beer with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rhonda and brother, Jerry Hensley. He is survived by his children, Michael Hensley (Tina) of Holt, MO and April Poe (Richard) of Stanfield, OR;  grandchildren, Chris Hensley (Kristen) of Kearney, MO, Amber Anderson (Nick) of Independence, MO, Shawn Milbrodt (Mychalea) of Stanfield, OR, Stephanie Meyer (Trevor) of Pilot Rock, OR, and Bethanie Milbrodt of Echo, OR; eleven great-grandchildren, Jayce, Emma, Addie, Anthony, Bentlie, Colby, Jaylie, Thomas, Benji, Lillian, and Beau; siblings, Judy Moore of Calhoun, GA and Larry Hensley of Calhoun, GA; nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Jameson Community Betterment Association in care of the funeral home.
