Ronald J. Bradshaw Obituary

Ronald J. Bradshaw - age 77 of Lathrop, MO passed away Saturday morning, April 13, 2024, in Lathrop. Ronald was born on June 8, 1946, the son of Ella Mae Bradshaw in Kansas City, MO. Ron grew up in the Lathrop and Turney area and was a 1964 graduate of Lathrop High School.  Ron was united in marriage to Penne Coker on July 17th, 1965, in Turney and to this union two children were born. Penne passed away in 2000. On July 22nd, 2002, he was united in marriage to Fern Mosel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ron worked for Ford Motor Company in Claycomo for over 37 years, retiring in 2002. Ron was a member of the UAW Local#249. Ron loved fishing, especially crappie. He loved his family, particularly his grandchildren. Ron was proud of his family. He enjoyed gardening vegetables and flowers; he was always doing something. Ron was honest, extremely reliable and loving. He was a best friend to Fern. Ron will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 

Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Penne; mother, Ella Mae Bradshaw; grandparents, William and Grace Bradshaw.  He is survived by his wife, Fern; children, Rhonda Parra (Dave Hollenberg) of Cameron, MO, Jon Bradshaw (Sandy) of Hill City, KS; stepchildren, Kristie Glazier (Don Cassity) of Kearney, MO, Bobi Jo McCollester (Shawn) of Lathrop, MO, and Jeramie Glazier of Polo, MO; grandchildren, Jessica Parra (Phillip Henry) of Kansas City, MO, Hanna Parra of Omaha, NE, Sabrina Parra of Raytown, MO, Kaitlyn Schuck (Austin) of Hill City, KS, Kimberly Bradshaw of Columbus, NE, Luc Francis (Jordan) of Liberty, MO, Kenna Glazier-Tucker (Christian) of Butler, MO, Angelina Parra of Kansas City, MO, Emarie McCollester of Lathrop, MO, Kelten McCollester of Lathrop, MO, and Quinten Glazier of Kansas City, MO; great-grandchildren, Payden, Jace, and Brayleigh; nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warrior Project in care of the funeral home. A service celebrating Ron's life will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Stith Funeral Home in Lathrop.  The family will receive friends one-hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Friends may call after 9 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Lathrop Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the care and direction of Stith Funeral Home in Lathrop (816) 740-4658.
