Robert L. "Bob" Garner, age 77 of Jamesport, MO passed away Sunday morning, September 20th, 2020 at NorthCare Hospice House, North Kansas City, MO. Bob was born on March 25th, 1943 the son of Clarence Earl and Lelia (Huckleberry) in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a 1962 graduate of Princeton High School. On June 1st, 1966 he was united in marriage to Freda Siever in Jamesport. Bob was a sewing machine mechanic and he enjoyed his career. He worked for Levi Strauss, Dickey’s Menswear and Stride Rite Shoe Factory. Early in his working career Bob worked for Churchill Trucklines and McDonald Aircraft on the Gemini Space Program. Bob and Freda lived in Chula, MO, Alamo, TX and Jamesport. He was a member of the Jamesport Baptist Church. Bob enjoyed fishing and he was “quite the character”. Bob will be dearly Missed.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gary Garner; son-in- law, Chris Untiedt. Survivors: wife, Freda of the home; son Robert L. (Nancy) Garner of South Carolina; daughter, Amy Untiedt of Trenton; son, Eric Garner of Jamesport; granddaughters, Kristen Barron and Madison Untiedt of Trenton; great-granddaughter, Mia Barron of Trenton; Nephews, cousins and other extended family also survive.
