Robert Joseph Duncan

Robert "Bob" Joseph Duncan - age 46 of Smithville, MO passed away Tuesday morning, December 30, 2025, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty. Robert was born on July 11, 1979, the son of Thomas Eugene and Constance Ellen (Duncan) Duncan in North Kansas City, MO. He grew up in the Gladstone area. He worked in construction. Bob liked hunting, fishing and riding his Harley. He was stubborn but his heart was in the right place, and he had a giving spirit. Bob will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children, Thomas Duncan, Kylie McLean (Ryan) of Smithville, and Lillian Duncan of San Marcos, Texas and Nic Lynford of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Kayden, Trenton, Jace and Clay; siblings, Evette Frederick (Daniel) of Edwards, MO, Otis Patterson of Blue Springs, MO and Jess Duncan of Gladstone, MO; nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Evette Frederick to assist with funeral expenses. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
