Robert "Bob" J. Seery

Robert "Bob" J. Seery - age 86 of Gallatin, MO passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 29th, 2021 at his daughter's home in Smithville, MO. Bob was born on February 4th, 1935 the son of Fay Isaac and Wanda Daisy (Nelson) Seery in Peru, KS.  On December 26th, 1956 he was united in marriage to Janet Morris in Miami, OK. They made their home in Coffeyville, KS for a few years, before moving to Kansas City in 1959. They settled in the Gallatin and Altamont area where they raised their family.  Bob worked as a truck driver for 7UP.  He was a great dad and grandpa.  Bob was fun and a joker.  He enjoyed westerns, Johnny Cash, attending auctions, playing cards and Canasta.  Bob will be dearly missed.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janet; daughter, Vickie Rhea Seery and brother, John Seery. Survivors include:  daughter, Cheryl (Earnest) Parks of Smithville; daughter, Brenda (Michael) Dannar of Kansas City, MO; brother, Larry (Sally) Seery of Gladewater, TX and sister, Carole Rothgeb of Independence, KS; grandchildren: Mindy, Brandy, Calan, Jessie and Micah; 11 great-grandchildren; other extended family members also survive.   

The family will receive friends from 1 PM to 2 PM, Monday, October 4th, 2021 at Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin.  Graveside services will follow at Winston Cemetery, Winston, MO.
