Richard "Rick" Tester

Richard "Rick" Tester - age 62 of Holt, MO passed away Friday afternoon, March 12th, 2021 at his home. Rick was born on August 17th, 1958 the son of Alva and Shirley (Bernard) Tester in St. Joseph, MO.  He grew up in Lathrop and attended Lathrop High School.  Rick worked as a carpenter.  He enjoyed football games, flowers and had an extensive wolf collection.  Rick was a simple man that was always willing to help.  He was very dependable and enjoyed life.  Rick will be dearly missed. 

Rick was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gary Tester; sister, Kathy Doyle. Survivors include: brother, Larry Tester of Holt; niece, Amber Tester of Washington; niece, Amanda (Clayton) Stuart of Oregon; nephew, Colby (Brittany) Tester of Kansas City, MO; brother-in-law, Sam Doyle of Holt; sister-in-law, Tena Bannister of Holt; several great nieces and nephews and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Larry Tester to help with final expenses in care of the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM, Friday, March 19th, 2021 at Lathrop Cemetery in Lathrop, MO. There is no scheduled family visitation.
