Rhonda R. Fitch

Rhonda R. Fitch - age 71 of Braymer, MO passed away Tuesday morning, March 31, 2026, at St.Luke's Hospice House in Kansas City, MO. Rhonda was born on September 9, 1954, the daughter of William Keith and Shirley Eileen (Keirnes) Powers in Fort Collins, CO. She grew up in Wellington, CO and was a 1973 graduate of Poudre High School. Rhonda married Harley Edwin Fitch on June 16th, 1973, in Wellington, CO. Rhonda and Ed were longtime residents of Wellington before moving to Braymer in 2015. She worked as a medical office manager at Rocky Mountain Cardiothoracic Surgery. She had been a member of Wellington Community Church and most recently, Braymer Christian Church. Rhonda loved spending time with her family, church family and friends; she was a people person. She especially loved her grandchildren. Rhonda will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Ed of the home; children, Cory Fitch (Karin) of Brighton, CO, Cale Fitch (Christina) of Loveland, CO, and Cassie Lewis (Jeremy) of Cowgill, MO; grandchildren, Cameron and Brenden Fitch of Fort Collins, CO, Logan Croner and Robbie (Emily) Croner of Loveland, CO, Isaac and Myah Fitch and Brooklyn Spillis of Brighton, CO, Elijah, Addison  and Alexia Lewis of Cowgill, MO; siblings, Les Powers (Linda) of Wellington, CO and Roxie Jones of Fort Collins, CO; nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Rhonda Fitch Memorial Fund - Payable to Harley Edwin Fitch  in care of the funeral home. A service celebrating Rhonda's life will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Braymer Christian Church.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, prior to the service at the church. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO.
