Philip Rodney Coon

Philip Rodney Coon - age 67 of Maysville, MO passed away Monday , February 3, 2025, at Sunset Home in Maysville. Philip was born on October 13, 1957, the son of Charles William and Patty Joyce (Booth) Coon in Kansas City. He was a graduate of Ridgeway High School and served in the United States Airforce.  He enjoyed hunting for Indian artifacts, painting and drawing. He always had a smile on his face.

Philip was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his brother, Bill Coon of Independence, MO; nephews, Rodney Coon, Matthew (Melissa) Coon; great-nephew, Jace Coon; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members also survive.    

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to City Union Mission in care of the funeral home. The family will gather with friends from 1 PM to 2 PM, Friday February 7th, 2025 at Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin. Private burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Gallatin.
