Patricia "Pat" (Eames) Griffin - age 71 of Trenton, MO passed away Monday morning, May 4, 2026 at her home in Trenton. Pat was born on April 29, 1955, the daughter of James and Betty (Gray) Eames in Monroe, LA. She was a military brat and was raised mostly in Louisiana and graduated from Woodlawn High School in Shreveport. Pat began working at AT&T and then she spent over 30 years managing a Chevron convenience store in Shreveport. On May 2, 2019, Pat married the love of her life, Benjamin Griffin, at Coon Creek Baptist Church. They had been longtime companions prior to getting married.
Pat loved visiting the casino, trying her luck with scratch-off tickets, and spending quiet time working on diamond art and jigsaw puzzles. She had a special love for butterflies, which seemed to reflect her gentle and beautiful spirit. Her faith was strong and deeply rooted. Pat was known for her kindness and generosity, she never spoke a bad word about anyone and had a heart full of compassion. She often shared her faith by giving out miniature Jesus', a small but meaningful gesture that touched many lives. Pat will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Rebecca Swanton. She is survived by her loving husband, Ben of the home; children, Ben Griffin JR of Springhill, LA, Michelle Pool of Benton, LA, William Griffin (Tracy) of Texarkana, AR, and Amanda Jo Cooper (Jim) of Sarepta, LA; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Jimmy Eames of Bethlehem, GA, and Joe Eames (Pat) of Pea Ridge, AR; brother-in-law, Wade Swanton of Bella Vista, AR; her special niece, Melissa Seawright of Bella Vista, AR; and close friend, Sue Tucker (Glenn) of Trenton, MO, along with many friends and pets also survive.
