Pamela Jeanette Maples, age 68, of Chillicothe, MO passed away Friday evening, July 5, 2024, at Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City.
Pam was born on March 3, 1956, the daughter of Robert Lewis and Alice (Roney) Sturgeon in Chillicothe, MO. She grew up in California and Scottsburg, IN and graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1974. Pam was a loving woman and never knew a stranger. She was definitely a plant whisperer; she had an amazing green thumb! She loved her family dearly and would do anything for anyone at any time. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Theas (Michael) of Savannah, MO and Misty Cecil (John) of Gallatin, MO; grandchildren, Brennon Hargrave (Sydnie) of Kansas City, MO, Justina Simmons (Brandon) of Platte City, MO, Dean Maples (Tiffany) of Chillicothe, MO, and Willy Walker of Gallatin, MO; great-grandchildren, Weston, Knox and Ollie Gene; siblings, Robert Sturgeon (Dee), Donald Dye (Donita) of Florence, IN, and Dian Batson of Shepardville KY; step-father, Ron Schwager of Meadville, MO; other extended family members also survive.
A service celebrating Pam's life will be held at 10 AM Saturday, July 13th, 2024, at Souls Harbor Church of God in Chillicothe, Missouri
