Niki Warner Obituary

Niki Warner - age 40 of Lexington, MO passed away Monday evening, February 24, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City. Niki was born on February 6, 1985, the daughter of Bill and Adriana  (Hicks) Gorham in Richmond, MO. She was a 2003 graduate of Lawson High School, In December 2012 she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, an accomplishment she was very proud to have completed. She married Brent Warner on November 11th, 2017, in Lexington. During her career as a nurse she worked at Ray County Memorial Hospital, Centerpoint Medical Center and most recently, Odessa Health. While working at Centerpoint she was honored with the Daisy Award. Niki was loved by so many. Her compassion and loving spirit left an impact on many people that knew her. Her journey on earth is sealed with love, laughter, and many memories. She deeply loved her nursing career and the ability it gave her to help many others through the years. She especially loved spending time at the lake house with Brent, family, friends, and of course Bruno. She was always trying to out fish Brent. She loved her fast green car and doing various crafts and diamond art. Niki was smart, funny and cheerful and maybe a little bit wild, but we wouldn't have wanted her any other way. But nothing compares to Niki’s immeasurable love for her daughter, Lilly. She was incredibly proud of the young woman Lilly is becoming and was always eager to share with others just how special her daughter was. The bond they shared was one of pure, unconditional love. Niki will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
