Mildred Nadine (Todd) Lynch

Mildred Nadine (Todd) Lynch, 96, of Holt, MO, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday morning, December 12, 2025, surrounded by her family.  Mildred was born on July 6, 1929, in Springfield, MO to Roy and Nora (Smith) Todd. She was the oldest of seven children.  

Mildred was united in marriage to James Oren "Red" Lynch in 1953. Together they had one child, Russell, born on March 14, 1955. The family moved to Holt, MO in 1968 where she resided until her death.

Mildred was employed by First Federal Savings and Loan Association for 31 years, retiring as senior vice-president.  After retirement, she attended Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and received an A.R.E Degree in religious education.  She came to faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized at the age of 16. Mildred was a member of the First Baptist Church of Holt where she had the privilege of teaching children in Sunday School and Bible School.  

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; husband Oren in 1985; sisters, Doris Brownsberger and Rosemary Spence; brothers, Billy Gene Todd, Jim Todd and Ronald Todd. Survivors include her son, Russell Lynch (Peggy) of Cameron, MO; brother, David Todd (Daylene) of Billings, MO; sister-in-law, Sherry Todd of Fair Grove, MO; grandchildren, Lel Allison (Tonya) of Fort Myers, Fl, Abby Lynch-Kidwell (Jim) of Kansas City, MO and Ryan Lynch (Karie) of Liberty, MO; great-grandchildren, Syler Yracheta, Lexi Lynch (Tyler Mueller), Rylee Lynch, Emma Kidwell, Maci Lynch and Khloe Krell several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mildred loved and enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, art, her church and working with children.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Holt in care of the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 5 PM to 7 PM Friday evening (12/19) , at the First Baptist Church of Holt, MO. A service celebrating Mildred's remarkable life will be held at 10 AM Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Holt, MO, officiated by Pastor Dakota Darby.
