Michael Judd Whitfield

Michael Judd Whitfield - age 55 of Tucson, Arizona passed away Monday, July 31, 2023, in Tucson. Judd was born on July 13, 1968, the son of Jeff Richard and Ann (Reimers) Whitfield in North Kansas City, Missouri. He was a graduate of Horizon High School in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Following high school Judd obtained a degree in finance and business from the University of Arizona. Judd had a successful career with the Tucson Police Department for 25 years where he was on the SWAT Team, ran the armory, and taught at the academy. He enjoyed the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing. 

Judd was preceded in death by his father, Jeff Richard Whitfield and sister, Jessica Whitfield. He is survived by his mother, Ann Whitfield of Phoenix, AZ; stepmother, Pam McNeel of Cowgill, MO; brother, John Jeffrey Whitfield of Phoenix, AZ; and his uncle, John Whitfield (Pam Parton) of Gallatin, MO; several other extended family members also survive. 
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Green Hills Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gallatin, MO.   Arrangements entrusted to the care and direction of Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin (660) 663-2117.
