Mary Ann Medeiros

Mary Ann Medeiros - age 80 of Gallatin, MO passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 18, 2022, at her home. Mary was born on September 25, 1941, the daughter of JD and Alma (Railsback) Lancaster in Santa Anna, TX. Mary grew up in Santa Anna and Brady, TX.  She married Stanley Keola Medeiros on July 9th, 1976, in Wichita Falls, Texas. In 1988, they moved to Jameson, MO and then to Gallatin. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was a devout child of God. Mary enjoyed genealogy, painting, gardening and plants. Mary was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Gallatin Ward.   She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sherry Philene Cole and siblings, Wanda Jean Fortner and Johnny Dale Lancaster. Mary is survived by her husband Stanley Keola Medeiros of the home;  daughters, Mary Cannedy-Clarke (Benjamin Clarke) of Hermantown, MN, Terry Sorenson (Arthur) of Glen Rose, TX, Kalani Trowbridge (Mick) of Cameron, MO, and Alicia Koch (Michael) of Gallatin, MO; grandchildren, Chris, Scott, Caitlin, Cameron, Cassidy, Aaron, Christian, Skylor, Cade, Zadith, Leila, Maile, Blythe, Lewis, Connor, Emmaleigh, Kayla, Kylie, and Ethan; and 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 22, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  The family will receive friends one-hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery near Gallatin. Arrangements entrusted to the care and direction of Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin (660) 663-2117.
