Marsha Ruth (Evans) Belshe

Marsha Ruth (Evans) Belshe - age 70 of Gallatin, MO, passed away Saturday morning, March 16, 2024, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Missouri. Marsha was born on June 15th, 1953, in the home she grew up in, the daughter of Dennis and Lola (Bassett) Evans in Breckenridge, MO.  She was a 1971 graduate of Breckenridge High School.  On November 25th, 1972, she was united to Steven Belshe at the Breckenridge United Methodist Church.  Marsha worked at Cameron Mutual Insurance for over 40 years, retiring in 2018.  She loved Elvis, shopping, concerts, but most of all her family.  Marsha also enjoyed raising flowers and bird watching on the farm.  She will be dearly missed.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, James and Steven and her father and mother in-law, Charles and Peggy Belshe.  She is survived by her husband, Steve of the home; son, Eric (Stefanie) Belshe of Cameron; grandson, Brett Belshe of Cameron; sister, Sharon Evans of Cameron; brother-in-law, Larry (Lana) Belshe of Gallatin; sister-in-law, Jackie (Michael) Williams of Lake City, TX.  Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association or Hillcrest Cemetery in care of the funeral home. A service celebrating Marsha’s life will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday March 20th, 2024, at Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin. The family will gather with friends one-hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Friends may call after 9 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Gallatin.
