Lucille Pugh - age 91 of Gallatin and formerly Altamont, MO passed away Saturday morning, October 19th, 2019 at Cameron Regional Medical Center, Cameron. Lucille was born on May 21st, 1928 the daughter of Alva R. and Rebecca Jane (Lewis) Bozarth in Pattonsburg, MO. She was a 1947 graduate of Pattsonsburg High School. On December 5th, 1947 Lucille was united in marriage to Marion Lee Pugh in Kansas City, MO. She was a member of the Olive Baptist Church and Lafflot Club. Lucille had a big heart and was a loving grandmother. She took care of her children, grandchildren and friends of theirs. Lucille enjoyed gardening, quilting and cooking for the grandchildren. Her family describes her as awesome, “the best” and an angel. Lucille will be dearly missed.
Mrs. Pugh was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marion; son, Gary Pugh; sister, Helen Yost; brother, Robert Bozarth. Survivors: daughter, Joyce Curtis of Altamont; sister, Margaret Sellers of Osceola; brother, Lewis (Helen) Bozarth of Excelsior Springs; sister, Linda (Alvin) Young of Louisiana, MO; Grandchildren: Scotty Curtis, Darren Pugh, Brian Allenbrand; 16 great-grandchildren; other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Grand River Cemetery in care of the funeral home. Funeral Service: 2 PM Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019, Stith Funeral Home, Gallatin. Visitation: 6 to 8 PM the evening prior (Monday, October 21st) also at the funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home 9 AM to 5 PM Monday. Burial: Grand River Cemetery, Jameson.
