Lester William "Bud" Wallace

Lester William "Bud" Wallace - age 65, of Polo, MO passed away Monday evening, October 25th, 2021 at his home. Bud was born on June 19th, 1956 the son of Leonard Valentine and Alice Lucille (Ogle) Wallace in Alton, Il. He was a 1974 graduate of East Alton–Wood River High School. Bud worked in telecommunications. He loved to tell stories. Bud was a muscle car and Harley Davidson enthusiast. He enjoyed fishing and rock and roll. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Donna Price. Survivors include: sons, William Leonard “Billy” (Jennifer) Wallace of St. Louis and Johnathon Wallace of South Carolina; siblings, Diana (Albert) Monteil of Polo, Debbie Markley of Hisperia, CA, Alicia (Donnie) Chappell of Fosterburg, Il, Patty (Jose) Rodriguez of Choctaw, OK, DeeDee (Brett) Young of Meridian, ID, Darla (Michael) Letourneau of Ethelsville, AL, Leonard Valentine Wallace, Jr of Millington, TN, Eddie (Misty) Wallace of Polo; nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Caldwell County Foundation Cancer Assistance Fund in care of the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM, Saturday, November 6th, 2021 at Stith Family Funeral Home in Polo.
