Larry C. Raymo - age 83 of Jamesport, MO passed away Saturday morning, February 8, 2025, at home in Jamesport. Larry was born on June 4, 1941, the son of Leonard and Goldie (Johnson) Raymo in Trenton, MO. He grew up in the Hickory area between Jamesport and Trenton near what is today the Poosey Conservation Area. Larry was a 1960 graduate of Trenton High School. He married Norine Terry on June 19th, 1960, at the Shelburne Baptist Church Larry was a trucker driver his entire career. He drove for Hoffman and Reed, owned Raymo's Trucking Hauling and hauled for Kauffman Pallets. Larry was a true cowboy. He enjoyed pony pulling and stock car racing. He enjoyed spending time with family and dancing. Larry will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norine; grandson, Indy Wayne Raymo; siblings, Marion Flinn, Joan Boyd, Dale Raymo, Paul Raymo, Bruce Raymo, and Ronald Allen Raymo. He is survived by his children, Sandra Eason (Jackie) of Springfield, MO, Gradey Raymo (Marcia) of Wichita, KS, and Lola Gearin (Mark) of Spickard, MO; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; siblings, Freida Raymo of Naples, FL, Janice Rogers of Naples, FL, Billy Raymo of Chillicothe, MO, Rex Raymo of AR, Marvin Raymo (Bonnie) of AR, and Leonard Raymo of VA; his girlfriend, Shirley Hemmingway of Chillicothe, MO; several nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Pilot Grove #2 Cemetery in care of the funeral home. A service celebrating Larry's life will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 13, 2025, at the Jamesport Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, the evening prior at Stith Funeral Home & Crematory in Jamesport. Friends may call after noon on Wednesday at the funeral home.
