Kenneth J. Stinson - age 64, of Gallatin, MO passed away on Saturday evening, September 4th, 2021 at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO. Kenny was born on June 25th, 1957 the son of Kenneth and Lena (Jefcoat) Stinson in Kansas City, MO. At 13 years old, Kenny had open-heart surgery. That experience helped build his faith in God.  He grew up in Kansas City, MO attended Waldron High School in Waldron, AR. Living in Arkansas with his grandparents as a high schooler helped turn him into a Razorback fan.  In 1980, he was united in marriage to Brenda Lawrence at the Belmont Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO.  Kenny was a warehouseman for Certainteed in Fairfax, KS for 32 years.  Prior to moving to Lake Viking in 1995, Kenny and Brenda lived in Edgerton, MO and Kansas City. Kenny was a hard worker and always provided for his family.  God was most important to Kenny. He loved witnessing to people, and he founded Kidder Full Faith Christian Church in Kidder, MO, where he pastored.  Kenny had a gift for talking to those who were sick and needed to hear the word of God.  He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, being outdoors, Christian rock music, shopping, traveling, dogs and horses. Kenny especially loved people. He was funny and enjoyed goofing around.  Kenny also enjoyed cooking and he spent hours in the kitchen perfecting recipes. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Kenny was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, W.C. and Clorena Stinson and his maternal grandparents; maternal grandparents, Fred and Med Jefcoat. Survivors include: wife, Brenda of the home; sons, Kyle (Felicia) Stinson of Riverside, MO, Anthony Stinson of Gallatin; parents, Kenneth and Lena Stinson of Kansas City; brother, Jeff (Rhonda) Stinson of Smithville, MO; grandchildren: William Christopher, Katherine Isabella and Alexis Lynn; nephews, Brandon (Marley) Stinson of Kansas City and Dakota (Genesis) Stinson of Kansas City; other extended family members and friends also survive.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Cameron Dialysis Center in care of the funeral home. Due to COVID-19, services will be private. You may contact Brenda for a Zoom meeting link for services. Burial at Lake Viking Cemetery, Gallatin, MO.  The family wishes to express sincere appreciation for the physicians, nurses and staff at Liberty Hospital, Cameron Dialysis Center and Cameron Home Health.
