Kenneth Ivan "Kenny" Jordan - age 59 of Polo, MO passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, at his home in Polo. Kenny was born on July 26, 1965, the son of Louis Edward "L.E." and Betty Luella (Harsh) Jordan in Cameron, MO. He grew up on the family farm near Polo and was a 1983 graduate of Polo High School. In his youth he attended Prairie Ridge Church and later, he attended the Kingston Church of the Nazarene. Kenny had worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation and drove a truck for Lowell and Dennis Farmer. Most recently he had worked for Vance Brothers and Norris Quarries. Kenny loved Tractor Pulling. whether it was watching or participating. Allis-Chalmers were the best tractors, in his opinion. Kenny enjoyed watching football and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. He loved his family; especially his grandchildren. Kenny liked to cook and was always ready to share every detail of the recipe. Kenny will be dearly missed.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, L.E. Jordan. He is survived by his children, Lyndsey Heathman (Stephen) of Osceola, MO, Kenton Jordan (Carrie) of Warrensburg, MO, Kristen Pierce of Braymer, MO, and Leigh Anne Brown (Clayton) of Braymer, MO; grandchildren, Jordan, Emelia, Hayden, Harper, Natalie, Allison, Nicholas, Zachary, Kyler, Kamden, Edyn, Evelyn, and Elias; his mother, Betty Jordan of Cameron, MO; siblings, Ed Jordan (Sheila) of Cameron, MO and Debbie Fleming (Ron) of Kingston, MO; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other extended family members and his beloved dog, Winston.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the funeral home. A service celebrating Kenny's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Stith Funeral Home in Polo. The family will receive friends one-hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Private Burial at Prairie Ridge Cemetery, west of Polo.
