Kaye J. Mazer - age 94 of Polo, MO passed away Tuesday morning, July 6th, 2021 at Golden Age Nursing Home in Braymer. Kaye was born on March 28th, 1927 the daughter of John and Mary Bessie (Corrum) Roan in Huntsville, AL. Kaye grew up in Huntsville and graduated from high school there.  She was united in marriage to Archie W. Chapman on December 15th, 1948 and they made their home in Detroit, raising three sons.  Kaye worked in food service.  She enjoyed quilting and knitting. Kaye loved her grandkids and great grandkids. She will be dearly missed. 

Kaye was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Archie; sons, James Wesley Chapman and Robert Lee Chapman; a brother and a sister. Survivors include her son, John (Mary) Chapman of Polo; grandchildren: Kathy (Roger) Clarrey of North Kansas City, Justin Chapman of Polo, Jimmy (Kari) Chapman of Polo, Shannon (Chris) Wiyda of Rochester Hills, MI; great grandchildren: Tyler, Kristofer, Logan, Paige, Emily, Mason, Kaylyn, Emma, Olivia, and Julia. Many friends from Michigan also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Luke's Hospital on the Plaza - Acute Care Unit. No services will be held. Burial at a later date at Deerfield Township Cemetery, Deerfield Township, MI. Arrangements entrusted to the care and direction of Stith Family Funeral Home in Polo. (660) 354-2214.
