Katie Leigh Ann Grimes - age 35 of Kansas City, MO passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 2, 2024, in Grandview, MO. Katie was born on March 5, 1989 in Lee's Summit, MO. She worked in food service management. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Katie was preceded in death by her grandparents and her aunt, Terri Terry. She is survived by her parents, Karen Wynn of Braymer, MO and David Smith of Independence, MO; children, Jayden, Kyleigh, Kaylynn, Jordyn, and Keyona; brother, Ryan Grimes of Braymer, MO; two uncles; one aunt and best friend, Chris Sellars of Kansas City, MO; three cousins and other extended family members also survive.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family to help with final expenses in care of the funeral home. No services are planned at this time.
