Katherine M. Harp

Katherine M. Harp - age 90 of Cameron, MO passed away Sunday morning, March 22, 2026 in Cameron, MO. Katherine was born on July 3, 1935, the daughter of James and Edwina (Johnson) Salisbury in Liberty, MO. She married Kenneth Harp on October 25, 1952 and they had four children together. Katherine worked as a machinist before starting her own quilting business that she operated for several years. She enjoyed working with her hands, crocheting, embroidering, gardening and canning. Katherine took pride in her garden. She was generous, caring and loved to help people anyway she could. Katherine had a great sense of humor and liked to share that with others. She was devoted and loved her family. Katherine will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Harp; and three brothers. She is survived by four children, Rose M. Hamer, Mavis J. Cope, Daniel D. Harp, and Hank W. Harp; eleven grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

A service celebrating Katherine's life will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, March 27, 2026, at Stith Funeral Home (Lathrop). The family will receive friends from one hour prior also at the funeral home.
