June Fleming

June Fleming - age 87 of Kansas City, MO passed away Friday morning, June 6, 2025 at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO. June was born on August 8, 1937, in Tonganoxie, KS, the daughter of Wilbur H. and Beatrice M. Sharp. She married the love of her life, Richard W. Fleming, on May 29, 1954, in Kansas City, KS. June found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially gardening and planting flowers, which brought her great peace and happiness. June will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

June was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Beatrice Sharp; her husband, Richard W. Fleming; sons, William Dale Fleming and Anthony Lee Fleming; siblings, Inez Slaven, Donald Sharp, James Sharp, and Betty Thompson; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by daughters, Karen Alano (Richard) of Andover, KS, Brenda Hollon (Leroy) of Kearney, MO, Loretta Atchison of Bradley, FL, and Diana Kane (David) of Kansas City, MO; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home in Lathrop, MO. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home.
