Judith Ann Porter Lipscomb

Judith Ann Porter Lipscomb - age 72 of Lathrop, MO passed away Friday evening, September 26, 2025, at her home in Lathrop. Judy was born on March 29, 1953, the daughter of  Curtis E. and Vicki (Mobley) Kritz in Louisiana, MO. She grew up in Centralia, MO and was a 1971 graduate of Centralia High School. Judy married John Porter on November 15, 1974 and they made their home in Lathrop and raised their three daughters. John preceded her in death and Judy was united in marriage to Glen Lipscomb on December 31st, 2017.  She was a very dedicated mother, always in attendance for field trips and ball games. Judy also served as the president of the PTO and coached her daughter's t-ball and softball teams. She was very artistic and painted Christmas ornaments for Hallmark for several years. Judy always had extra kids around the house that affectionately called her "Momma Jude."  Her family was extremely important to her. Judy will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, John Porter; parents; grandmother, Lily Kritz; sister, Carolyn Gwin; niece, Robbyn Schultz; and great-nephew Kameron Gwin. She is survived by her husband, Glen Lipscomb of the home; daughters: Lisa Porter (Aaron) of Woonsocket, SD, Jillian Wright (David) of Lathrop, MO, Kara Wright (Adam) of Atchison, KS, Lori Coyne (Mike) of Cibilo, TX, and Kim Llerena (Juan) of Dripping Springs, TX; grandchildren: Justin, Robbyn, Lily, Pheonix, Alyssa, Cooper, John Brody, Jackson, Alex, Nic, Olivia, Grayson, Kendall, Hailey, and Maddie; and four great-grandchildren. Many cherished family members, friends and bonus kids that knew her as "Momma Jude" also survive.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in care of the funeral home. A service celebrating Judy's life will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at the First Christian Church of Lathrop. The family will receive friends 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, October 3rd, 2025 at the First Christian Church of Lathrop. Burial will follow at Lathrop Cemetery.
