Joyce Ann Baldwin

Joyce Ann Baldwin - age 66 of rural Cowgill, MO and formerly of Kearney, MO passed away Tuesday morning, November 10th, 2020 at her home surrounded by loving family.  Joyce was born on April 23rd, 1954 the daughter of Jennings and Margaret (Rushing) Chapman in Anna, Ill.  She was a 1972 graduate of Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, KS.  On December 22, 1972 she was united in marriage to Garry Baldwin in Kansas City, KS.  They made their home in Monticello Township, KS before moving to Kearney, MO and then Cowgill, MO.  Joyce worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Oscar Knight Leabo. She was also a dedicated homemaker.  Joyce was an antique collector and loved cooking, especially for grandchildren and at Christmas time.  She loved her aunt, Bert Weiss.  Joyce was a loving mom and grandma. She will be dearly missed.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kimberly Ann Louise Baldwin; sister, Margaret Jones; brother, Steven Rushing; brother, Roger Chapman; aunt, Bert Weiss. Survivors include: husband, Garry Baldwin, Sr. of the home; son, Garry Baldwin Jr., of Cowgill; grandchildren: Bryce, Colby, Dalton, Max; brother, Jimmy (Denise) Chapman of Princeton, MO; brother, Johnny (Karen) Jones of Kansas City, KS; aunt, Delores Lahue of Appleton City, MO; uncle, Ernest Rushing of Butler, MO; nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family also survive. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home. Funeral service: 1 PM, Friday, November 13, 2020, Polo United Methodist Church, Polo, MO. Visitation: one-hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial: Bethel Cemetery, Polo, MO.
