Joei Lynn Gardner

Joei Lynn Gardner - age 40, of Chillicothe, MO passed away Sunday morning, August 29th, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO, after giving birth to a baby boy, Greyson Rockwell Gardner.  Greyson preceded Joei in death on Saturday evening, August 28th, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital. Joei was born on June 27th, 1981 the daughter of Albert James and Debra Lynn (Bloomer) Reeves in Omaha, NE. Joei grew up in Nebraska and resided there until moving to Chillicothe, MO, a few years ago.  On November 12th, 2019 she was united in marriage to Richard Gardner in Chillicothe.  Joei loved being a mother and homemaker.  She loved her family and enjoyed making photo albums for her kids.  Joei especially enjoyed date night with Rick and spending time with him.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Grand River Valley Ward.  Joei and baby Greyson will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

Joei was preceded in death by her father; infant son, Greyson; paternal grandparents; maternal grandmother; niece, Miley.  Survivors include: husband, Rick of the home; children, Maddison, Ethan and Summer Al-Zayadi of Lincoln, NE and Adam Bolas of Vacaville, CA; step-children, Blake, Rylee and Raegan Gardner of Chillicothe; mother, Debra of Liberty; sister, Kelleen (Chris) Todd of Houston, TX; brother, Michael Reeves of Orrick; sister, Miley Journey of Spring, TX; brother, Jonathan Bloomer of Lincoln, NE; maternal grandfather, Joe Bloomer of New Jersey; several, nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Stith Funeral Home to help with final expenses. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Trenton, MO. The family will receive friends one-hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Mt.
