Jody L. (Searcy) Finnell

Jody L. (Searcy) Finnell - age 73 of Trenton, MO passed away peacefully  Saturday afternoon, February 8, 2025 in Trenton. She was surrounded by her friends and family. Jody was born on May 17, 1951. She was the daughter of Cecil  and Rachel  (Moulin) Searcy. Jody grew up in Gallatin and was a 1969 graduate of Gallatin High School. After high school she met and married Charles Riley and they had three children, Tina, Tammy and Charles, Jr. Later, on December 31st, 1991, she married Robert Finnell in Cameron. She was a lifelong waitress although she dabbled with factory work. Jody enjoyed being a waitress because she enjoyed working with the public.  Jody will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Jody was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Finnell; sister, Patty Searcy and niece, Tosha Sparks. Survivors include her children, Tina Riley of Trenton, Tammy Riley of Trenton and Charles Riley of Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Courtney Dale of Trenton, Brooklynn McCrary of St. Joe, Brianna McCrary of Trenton, Caitlynn McCary of Trenton, Austin Stoner of Hawaii, Dallas Stoner of Hawaii, Trey Riley of North Dakota, Bruce Riley of North Dakota and Hannah Riley of North Dakota; great-grandchildren Revan Riley of North Dakota, Freyja Dale of Trenton; brother Harold McClellan of Clarksdale, MO; sister Tina (Rex) Arbuckle of Clarksdale, MO; biological mother, Fern Burns of Clarksdale, MO; nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Tammy Stoner for funeral expenses (142 S. Main Street Trenton, MO 64683). Services are pending for later this spring.
