James L. "Jim" Loucks - age 66, of Gallatin, MO, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025, at his home in Gallatin.
Jim was born in Bosworth, Missouri, on May 26, 1959, to William Henry and Dorothy Jane Evelyn (Sparks) Loucks. He was united in marriage to Shirley Rose Hershberger on August 23, 1982, in Gallatin, Missouri.
Jim spent over 40 years working as a mechanic and fixing things. He loved his family very much and enjoyed helping people. He will be missed.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, brothers William Leeroy Loucks and Gary Gene Loucks, and sisters Patty Jean Dow and Linda Lou Hogan. Survivors include his wife Shirley Rose Loucks, of the home; children Jimmy Stanhope of Gallatin, Missouri, Sherry Craig of Trenton, Missouri, Johnny Loucks and wife Britney of Cleo Springs, Oklahoma, and Justin Hogan and wife Neesa of Blue Mound, Missouri; sister, Shirley Shipers of Gallatin; grandchildren: Haleigh Stanhope, Landon Stanhope, Brently Stanhope, Cadin Craig, Bailey Rose Rice, Kristie Sanders, Rose Lynn Star Loucks, Linda Kaye Loucks, Timber Hogan, Mason Hogan and one on the way, Jimmy L. Loucks III.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Shirley Rose Loucks. The family will have a celebration of life gathering at the Gallatin United Methodist Church, at Noon, Saturday, June 28, 2025.
