Jerry D. "Poncho" Hogan

Jerry D. "Poncho" Hogan - age 68 of Gallatin, MO passed away Sunday afternoon, August 22nd, 2021, at his home. Jerry was born on July 6th, 1953 the son of Herman and Connie (Carson) Hogan in Pattonsburg, MO. Poncho attended Gallatin schools.  He was a farmer. Poncho was a member of the Gallatin First Christian Church. He loved to fish and hunt.  Poncho was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals and NASCAR.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Cathy Hogan; niece, Jennifer Hogan; several aunts, uncles and other extended family.  Survivors include: siblings, Delores Elder of Cameron, Dee (Jean) of Coffey, Richard Hogan of Gallatin, Billy (Linda) Hogan of Carrollton, Ron (Angela) Hogan of Cameron, Tracy (Bruce) Carder of Gallatin; best friend, RG Curtis of Gallatin; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.    

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Gallatin First Christian Church in care of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, August 30th, 2021 at Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin.  The family will receive friends one-hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Friends may call from 1 PM to 5 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery near Jamesport, MO.  Arrangements entrusted to the care and direction of Stith Funeral Home.
