Jerry Hinshaw

Jerry Hinshaw - age 53 of Parkville, MO passed away Thursday, August 12th, 2021 at St. Luke's North Hospital - Barry Road in Kansas City, MO. Jerry was born on March 8th, 1968 the son of Robert Hinshaw and Charlene (Walker) Hinshaw in Independence, MO, along with his twin brother, Gerry.  He was a 1986 graduate of Lathrop High School and later graduated from Metropolitan Community College, MCC Blue River Campus (Law Enforcement) and recently completing numerous courses with American Bible Academy preparing himself for outreach ministry. Jerry worked for Jack Cooper Transport and was a store manager for Casey’s on North Oak in Kansas City, MO. 

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include: daughter, Chelsie (Mike Munson) Hinshaw of Kansas City; father, Bob Hinshaw of Lathrop; twin brother, Gerry (Kristy) Hinshaw of Lathrop; sister, Wonda (Dennis) Shimer of Springfield, KY; sister, Kay (Mike Gregory) Brelsford of St. Joseph, MO; sister, Elaine Jones of Excelsior Springs, MO; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other extended family members also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Bible Academy in care of the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, August 24th, 2021 at Lathrop Cemetery in Lathrop, MO.  Arrangements entrusted to the care and direction of Stith Funeral Home in Lathrop.
