Jennifer R. Miller

Jennifer R. Miller - age 49 of Lathrop, MO passed away Thursday afternoon, August 12th, 2021, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO. Jennifer was born on April 27th, 1972, the daughter of Rick and Karen (Ferriman) Koogler in Columbus, OH.  She was a 1990 graduate of Franklin Heights High School in Columbus.  On July 13th, 1991 she was united in marriage to Bill Miller.  They made their home in Lorain, OH and Kearney, MO before settling outside Lathrop.  Jennifer currently worked as a regional business office manager for Communicare Health Services.  She was outgoing, hysterically funny, caring and warm.  Jennifer was a workaholic and loved supporting her family. She enjoyed spending time with her kids, and going to all of their activities.  Jennifer was known as Momma Jen, because she was a maternal figure to many.  She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.

Jennifer was preceded in death by mother, Karen Cotner and brother, Johnny Koogler. Survivors include: her father; husband, Bill of the home; children, Nicolas Miller, Matthew Miller, Makynzee Miller, and Zachary Miller all of Lathrop; brother, Rick (Kim) Koogler of Murphy, NC; sister, Christina Cotner of Elyria, OH; brother, James Cotner of Ashville, OH; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Friends of Lathrop Park (checks made payable to Unlimited Play) in care of the funeral home or Goppert Financial Bank in Lathrop. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM, Wednesday, August 18th, 2021, at the First Christian Church in Lathrop, with funeral services following at 7 PM. Cremation will follow the services.
