Jennie Miller

Jennie Miller - age 75 of Lathrop, MO passed away Wednesday night,  January 19, 2022, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO. Jennie was born on July 2, 1946, the daughter of Albert  and Dorothy  (Narron) Skinner in Independence, MO. She grew up in Lawson and was a 1965 graduate of Lawson High School. Jennie married Stephen Miller on May 29th, 1965, at the First Baptist Church in Lawson. They lived in Cameron and Gloucester, MA before settling near Lathrop. She worked for Clinco in Cameron as a maintenance supervisor, wiring technician for Eaton Corp and JPL in Massachusetts. Jennie was also the kitchen manager at Ellis Elementary School in Plattsburg for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sons, Stephen Miller Jr. and James Bailey Miller. Jennie is survived by her husband, Stephen Miller of Lathrop, MO; children, David Lee Miller of Lathrop, MO and Michele Denniston (Rick) of Lathrop, MO; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 siblings, Orville "Bud" Skinner (Linda) of Lathrop, MO and Barbara Ann Moore of Warsaw, MO.
 

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Stith Funeral Home in Lathrop.  The family will receive friends one-hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
