Jami Lou Harris Obituary

Jami Lou Harris - age 60 of Gallatin, MO passed away Friday morning, January 24th, 2020 at her home. Jami was born on January 8th, 1960 the daughter of Carl James and Bettie (McMillan) Harris in Bethany, MO.  She grew up in Johnson County, KS and attended Shawnee Mission South High School. Jami also attended Monterey Academy of Hair Design in Monterey, CA.  She was a self-employed cosmetologist. Jami was a collector of all things and a lover of animals.  She was most proud of her son and grandchildren.  Jami loved being a grandmother.  She was of the Baptist faith.  Jami will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her father, Carl James Harris.  Survivors include:  son, Logan Richard of Independence; mother, Bettie Harris of Overland Park, KS; brother, Jack Harris of Kansas City; sister, Jodie (Michael) Armstrong of Arizona; sister, Eran Harris of Lee’s Summit; sister, Brandy (Kevin) Roberson of Holden; sister, Terri Harper of Montana; grandchildren: Callie and Johnny; aunt, Mary Weldon of Gallatin; friends, Roxanne and Belinda, several aunts, uncles, other extended loved ones and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to help with funeral expenses.  Contributions can be made online through GoFundMe (link below).
