James "Jim" Mettler

James "Jim" Mettler - age 73 of Holt, MO passed away Wednesday evening, May 22, 2024, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO. Jim was born on December 22, 1950, the son of Jackson M. and Louise (Sanderson) Mettler in Kansas City, MO. He was united in marriage to Ronda Rushton on September 24, 2003, in Oklahoma. He worked for BNSF Railroad as a welder. Jim loved to fish, hunt and ride his Harley Davidson. Jim and Ronda loved spending time in Estes Park, Colorado and Jim particularly enjoyed fishing at Bennett Springs. He loved his girls and was a wonderful grandpa. Jim will be dearly missed by his family. 

Jim was preceded in death by his father; stepfather, Bob Merritt and sister, Anita. He is survived by his wife Ronda; daughters, Shanna Wilson of Holt, MO and Tiffany Harman of Holt, MO; grandchildren, Logan, Aaron, Kaylee, McKenna, Bradley, Ireland, Max, and Masen; great-grandchildren, Draven, Connor, Elliot, Riley, Emory, Rowan, and Kolter; and his parent. Other extended family members also survive.
