James Henry Harris Jr. - age 64 of Polo, MO passed away Friday morning, April 22, 2022 in at Quail Run Health Care in Cameron, MO. James was born on October 24, 1957, the son of James and Myrtle (Coram) Harris in Illinois. He grew up in Independence and attended Van Horn High School. He served our country in the United States Navy. Jim was a small engine mechanic and corrections officer. Jim loved to fish. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Beauford McElwee. He is survived by his children, Mandy Tichelkamp (Paul) of Jefferson City, MO and Jamie Harris of Polo, MO and grandchildren, Annamaria, Danika, Quentin, and Zayne.
