Jacob Ray Graber

Jacob Ray Graber was born October 2, 1927, at Allen Co. IN. to Menno and Elizabeth (Eicher) Graber.  He passed away at his home on September 12, 2024, at Jamesport, MO. At the age of 96 years 11 months and 10 days.  He was married on February 7, 1949, to Anna Knepp.  She preceded him in death on June 25, 1968.  They lived in matrimony for 19 years 4 months 18 days.  Jacob remarried to Katie (Troyer) Wengerd on February 11, 1969.  She preceded him in death on December 16, 1982.  They lived in matrimony for 13 years 10 months and 5 days.  Jacob remarried May 27, 1984, to Lydia M. Miller.  She survives at the home.  They lived in matrimony for 40 years 3 months and 16 days.  He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church; he remained faithful to the end.

He leaves to mourn 6 sons and 7 daughters.  Ruth (Crist) Mast, Townville, PA.  Rosie (Elvan) Schrock, Jamesport, MO.  Sara (Eli) Mast, Meadville, PA.  Dorothy (Atlee) Miller, Orrville, OH.  Dave (Alma) Graber, Sugarcreek, OH.  Jacob Jr. (Mary) Graber, Jamesport, MO.  John (Karen) Graber, Millersburg, OH.  Esther (JR) Wengerd, Gambier, OH.  Daughter-in-law, Rosie (Yoder) Graber, Jamesport, MO.  Paul (Ruth Ann) Graber, Loganville, WI.  Martha (Roy) Hershberger, Bethleham, OH.  Syl (Christina) Graber, Jamesport, MO.  Kathryn (Dave) Myers, Holmesville, OH.  Rueben (Laura) Graber, Sugarcreek, OH.  Two step-children, Edna (Albert) Yoder, Millersburg, OH. David (Martha) Wengerd, Baltic, OH.

He also leaves 94 grandchildren, 15 step-grandchildren, 273 great-grandchildren, 18 step-great grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by son, Phillip, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.  Father, Mother, brothers, Melvin and Sylvan and sisters, Elizabeth, Ada and Ruth.

Local funeral services for Jacob Graber will be held at 9:00 AM, Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Abe Kurtz Residence in Jamesport, Missouri. Funeral services with interment following will be held at 9:00 AM, Monday, September 16, 2024, at the Atlee Miller Residence (3522 TR 371 Sugarcreek, OH 44681).  Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery in Sugarcreek, Ohio.
